The army cadet force is a national voluntary organisation. It is sponsored by the Army and provides challenging military, adventurous and community activities. It's aim is to inspire young people to achieve success in life with a spirit of service to the Queen, their country and their local community, and to develop them in the qualities required of a good citizen. We partake in an annual two week camp and in athletics, swimming, football, rugby and shooting competitions.

We meet on Thursday nights from 19.30 - 21.30 at the Haslemere Detachment Hut, Youth Campus, Wey Hill, Haslemere, GU27 1BX.

Please note that this youth organisation does not only promote cadets to join, we also promote adults (21-50) to become instructors.
It doesn't cost you a penny to get involved. Adult Leaders are paid for up to 20 training days per year as well as their travel costs to and from their Detachment locations. Further details will be provided when you join. All the uniform and equipment that you need will be issued to you on loan.
