Grayshott Folk Club presents: House DevilsGrayshott Folk Club audiences love a bit of the auld diddly-dee and The House Devils are a lively traditional and authentic Celtic Folk band from Manchester whose brilliant musicianship is starting to reach a much wider audience. They feature: Mat Walklate, who is an award-winning harmonica player. He also plays flute, and Uillean pipes and he sings a bit too. Matt Fahey Sings and plays guitar whilst Johnny Hulme fills out the sound on the banjo. Together they make great vibes. Plus Kim Lowings and the Greenwood, an emerging talent from the Midlands, Kim has charm and a voice to die for. In 2012 she recorded an excellent EP called “Deepest, Darkest Night” and I haven’t stopped playing it all summer. I’m really looking forward to seeing Kim and her family play for us live at Grayshott. Personal callers may buy their tickets for all Grayshott Folk Club events from: Magical Rooms, 2 Headley Road, Grayshott (opposite The Fox and Pelican pub): 01428-608 340, Grayshott Social Club, Hill Road, Grayshott: 01428-604 041, Haslemere Bookshop, High Street, Haslemere: 01428-652 952.
