Haslemere Natural History Society Illustrated Wildlife Talk (and tea): 'Within a Mile of Lavender Cottage'

The speaker is John Richardson, HNHS Member and keen wildlife traveller and photographer, with an account of just some of the flora and fauna within a mile radius of his house on the Surrey/Sussex border. John will take us on a tour of the natural world he has discovered near to his home. His talk is an invitation for nature-lovers to look closely at their local habitat, perhaps with fresh eyes. John’s keen observations have resulted in hundreds of photographs taken on walks in the Surrey/Sussex countryside. He will also include information on how to foster and protect the health of birds we feed and encourage in our gardens. Join us for this fascinating talk to start the new year. Visitors and prospective members very welcome. See our website for all HNHS events and news throughout the year: www.haslemerenaturalhistorysociety.org.uk.
