Grayshott Folk Club presents: Texan Jarrod Dickenson/Ben & Steve Somers

Jarrod is a singer-songwriter/guitarist who has his own unique Americana/Soul style. Storytelling is something of a Texas tradition: tall hats and even taller tales are woven into the fabric of The Lone Star State. After his special Grayshott gig, he travels through mainland Europe before returning to the UK to play at Cambridge Folk Festival on Sunday 4th August 2019, along with Richard Thompson, Fisherman's Friends and The Unthanks. That night, we also welcome Londoners and Son/Father combo Ben & Steve Somers who will do a support slot for us. Ben is a composer, musician and educator. His primary instruments are double bass, saxophone and voice and he plays across the genres of jazz, folk and roots music.
