Haslemere Healthcheck - Community Task Group Leader Jackie Gaskell

Jackie has lived in Haslemere since 1988. She has two sons, both in their twenties, who regularly return home and give her their advice on the needs of young people in the community! 

Jackie has been the manager of Haslemere Citizens Advice Bureau since 1996 and in 2001 she also took on the management of Cranleigh CAB. She is well aware of the diversity of expectations and the range of issues which concern local people. She has been involved in other community projects including Waverley's 'Better Government for Older People' and the Government's 'Modernising Public Services'. Jackie is a member of Haslemere Rotary Club which focuses on community needs.

Jackie strongly believes that the wellbeing of individuals in the community is vital for the success and prosperity of the town. She welcomes this opportunity for everyone to participate in the vision for the future of Haslemere.
