Haslemere Healthcheck - Environment Task Group Leader Robert Serman FRICS

Robert moved to Haslemere 18 years ago with his wife Diana, and their two teenage daughters. They enjoy cycling and are enthusiastic about the countryside. As a Chartered Surveyor managing a wide range of property. Robert's work has taken him to most parts of the country - Oxford, Salisbury, London, Manchester, Aldershot and Chichester, as well as to Antwerp and Brussels.

Robert is chairman of the Haslemere Society (the town's "watchdog" as the Herald calls it), and also of the Haslemere and District Conservation Volunteers.

Robert and Diana are members of the Town Twinning Association, and being enthusiastic travellers in their campervan, are very aware of how Haslemere compares with other European town and villages.
