Simon Fawson has been a resident of Haslemere since 1986. He is married with three teenage sons and works as a business and IT consultant. He is a graduate transport planner and engineer, and worked as a transport consultant in the UK and overseas for 15 years.

He has been a committee member of The Haslemere Society for the past two years where his main input has been to comment and advise on the proposed improvement on the A3 at Hindhead and the Tesco/Lion Green junction.
