A Story of a Talented Child

Grace Aruna is the youngest of 5 children. Her father was a drunkard and didn’t support his family properly and then last year he was killed whilst drunk in a road accident. Her mother cannot read or write and the only work she can do is as a part time labourer for day wages. Her elder brother is at college and she has two sisters still at school. Grace Aruna came to Kings School in 2009 and Kings School is supporting her education completely under the bursary sponsorship scheme.
Grace Aruna came from a Tamil medium school and from her first day at Kings she has gone from strength to strength in her academic studies and in other activities.  She has been awarded many commendation certificates and prizes for her achievements in Kings School since her arrival last year. She writes very neatly is very responsible and attentive in class, she is always eager to learn new things.
It is a pleasure to have Grace Aruna in Kings School as she is cheerful, active and enthusiastic. She has a great future ahead if she continues to achieve success as she has done so far.
Grace Aruna attends Kings School but she now lives in the Kings World Trust’s Girl’s Home which is called ‘Kings Field” The Home has 60 girls and they are cared for by trained residential care staff
