I was thrilled a number of years ago to sponsor Monica, one of KWTC’s children. My wife sends her little presents sometimes and Monica always sends lovely letters of thanks. We were thrilled by a recent letter which said “My friends and teachers are very kind and the teachers teach us well” She concluded “I am so very happy to be looked after in Kings Field and study in Kings School.” Sadly, work and home pressures have so far prevented me visiting Monica in India but, God willing, one day I will. She is like an addition to our family. |

Anne and Keith Sprules, Wiltshire
Having been introduced to the Kings World Trust for Children by one of it’s Trustees we were
very happy to sponsor one of the orphan boys. The hardest part was choosing a child as each one is special and all deserve a chance to get on in this world and these children did not ask to be born, let alone become orphans. Despite this, they ask for nothing and manage to be happy – a lesson to us all. The staff and carers at the Trust are wonderful. Having visited the Trust in February, where we went to the school and met staff and children, we realised just what a special place it is. We hope that these two boys and many of the others will have opportunities that they may never have got if their tragic circumstances had not left them in the care of the Trust. We are fortunate to lead a privileged life and having seen first hand how little goes so very far in India it was a humbling experience. Despite their tender years they inspired us and that is why it was so easy for Keith and I to want to help them. We look forward to keeping in contact with the boys and hearing how they are progressing and hope to visit again in the not too distant future. |
