NATIONAL QUALITY AWARDS FOR HASLEMERE CHIROPRACTIC CLINIC

Haslemere Chiropractic Clinic is celebrating the news that it has received two National Awards. In January 2007, the Clinic was one of the first in the country to receive the Patient Partnership Quality Mark (PPQM) from the College of Chiropractors. The PPQM is valid for 3 years, and Haslemere Chiropractic Clinic has been successful in renewing this award by demonstrating an ongoing commitment to excellence in meeting patient expectations.

Last year the College of Chiropractors introduced the Clinical Management Quality Mark (CMQM) for practices which demonstrate excellence in a range of areas including clinical audit, risk management, incident reporting, outcome measurement, patient satisfaction and operational policy. Haslemere Chiropractic Clinic has also been successful in obtaining this award, making it one of only a small number of chiropractic practices in the country to hold both quality marks.

Michelle Carrington, the Principal Chiropractor at the Clinic based in West Street, attended an Awards Ceremony in London to officially receive the Quality Marks. She said “I am delighted that the Clinic has been recognised in this way, and very proud of all the chiropractors and reception staff who have worked hard to satisfy the strict criteria for obtaining these awards. There has been a real team effort to apply these levels of governance to our practice, the aim being to ensure that patients coming to Haslemere Chiropractic Clinic can be confident that they will receive the same high standard of care regardless of which chiropractor they see.”
