Special Needs
Children with special
educational needs are welcomed. We have a trained Special Education Needs
Co-ordinator (SENCO). We actively seek to obtain funding for children with
special needs.
Discipline
The nursery has clear rules
regarding behaviour, which are explained to the children and applied
consistently. We aim to help the children develop self-control and respect for
the needs of others.
Corporal punishment is never
used.
Equal Opportunities
Children will not be
refused admittance to the nursery on rounds of race, culture, religion, gender
or disability.
We aim to offer all the
children equal access to the nursery’s equipment and facilities and encourage
them to participate in all activities.
We challenge and resist
racial and gender stereotyping and encourage each child to develop a positive
self-image.
