Under 9's
Haslemere Reds (Under 9' s 2006-2007)
Haslemere Reds were formed for the 2005-2006 season to provide regular competitive football for those boys who played matches less frequently the previous year. This season the Reds played in division 5 of the Surrey league primary league while the Blues (under 9's) played in the North east Hampshire League. The reds finished 3rd in the division and reached the quarter final of the junior cup, an excellent performance for their first season. Next season we hope to build on this success and the number of players within the whole of the under 9' s squad (blues and reds) is likely to create pressure for a third team. However for this to happen we obviously need at least one adult volunteer to manage a third team. This will then make it easier to give all players including welcome newcomers match experience.
