Haslemere Town Council has an amenities Group which recommends policy to Council in connection with a number of facilities in the Town Council area, provided by the Town Council. The Group has six members plus the Mayor and Deputy Mayor.

At present the following Councillors are the members of the Amenities Committee.

Amenities consider, provision of allotment gardens, (a statutory duty of the Council), together with the provision of seats all around the area, in Crichmere, Grayswood, Haslemere, Hindhead and Shottermill. At present there is a waiting list for allotments, but you can request an application form from the Council offices.

The maintenance of the area around the War Memorial in High Street, Lion Green, Shottermill and two areas in Hindhead are also under the control of the Council and subject to management by the Group.
