Haslemere hosts a fabulous variety of events throughout the year for the benefit of both residents and visitors. So there are plenty of reasons to visit whatever the season!

Haslemere was granted a Charter to hold a weekly market by Elizabeth I in 1596 and still celebrates with a bi-annual Charter Fair held at the beginning of May in even years. Next year it will be on Friday 3rd June 2022 to mark the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.

Other events include the Haslemere Festival which runs in odd years in the second half of May, Haslemere Fringe which runs in even years at the beginning of July, Haunted Haslemere, spooky fun for all the family and the Christmas Market held during the first week of December with over 200 stalls selling unique Christmas gifts.

For all you food lovers, the increasingly popular Food Festival in September promotes local food and businesses and includes lots of new and exciting additions every year offering an even greater variety of feasts - foodie fun for everyone!
